Shibamata. Mr. Hidenori Machida next to a bronze statue of "Mr. Torajiro." Mr. Torajiro was a very popular movie character played by Kiyoshi Atsumi (1929-1996) from 1968 to 1996. Shibamata was the home base of his movie series "Being a man is not easy. (Otoko wa tsurai yo)" Neil Mishalov posing with a local character in front of the Mr. Torajiro statue.
