It's 1:38 p.m., and I have to check out of my room at the Metro hotel by 2 p.m., so we are taking a cab back to the hotel. We will meet Savina, and the three of us will take the train to Anyang Savina and Michelle on the subway. We have started our trip to Anyang, which is about 25 miles south of Seoul A older gentleman on the subway

We have to transfer to a different train line Seouksu-dong. This is where I spent 13 months when I was in Korea in '68-'69. It is now unrecognizable. We are about a mile from the main train station at Anyang

Lawrence reports for duty in Anyang! My old Army buddy Bob Lawrence, traveled from New Jersey to join me in this unforgettable experience. We recently reconnected after not seeing each other for 33 years Bob, Michelle and Neil

It's great to be back in Korea with Bob. We went through advanced training together in Redstone Arsenal, we shipped out to Korea together, and we returned to the States together. Now 34 years later, we are, once again, back in Korea. Sweet Samwon Plaza hotel restaurant. Mr. Kim Sung-Soo, Director, Division of Culture and Art, Anyang City, Mr.Kong Beom-Seok, Division of Culture and Art and Ms. Wolae Jung, Deputy Director, Division of Culture and Art We all walked down the street and had a delicious dinner and discussed the upcoming schedule for the next 4 days

After dinner we walked back to the hotel. Tomorrow will be our meeting with Mayor Shin Joon-Dai and all of the Anyang City Council members
