Golden Gate Park is a large urban park consisting of 1,017 acres. The park has been administered by the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department since 1871. The park is over three miles long east to west, and about half a mile long north to south. Golden Gate Park has approximately 13 million visitors annually.

NOW This building was constructed in 1914; it was built in the Richmond District for the German Savings and Loan Society, which was the first bank to have a branch in the Richmond District. Today the building is the home to the Tat Wong Kung Fu Kickboxing Academy. The kickboxing academy is located on Clement Street at 7th Avenue.

NOW  I took this photo on 29 May 2017.

THEN This picture was taken in 1915. Please note that the length of the building as seen today is approximately 30% longer than the size of the original building as seen in this photograph.
