Berkeley's Cheese Board Collective celebrates its 50th anniversary: 3 June 2018

The Cheese Board began operation in 1967 in a small retail storefront located at 2114 Vine Street. In 1971 the two Cheese Board owners sold the business to the Cheese Board's employees, and the two former owners remained at the Cheese Board as workers. In 1975 the now renamed Cheese Board Collective moved around the corner to a larger retail storefront located at 1504 Shattuck Avenue. The 1504 Shattuck Avenue site is still occupied by the Cheese Board Collective. Happy 50th anniversary to all members of the Cheese Board Collective, past and present.
